1) How come you no longer offer Leg Wax services?

It is not an area I would like to focus on. There will be no accommodations. If you would like a leg wax, you will need to go to a different salon.

2) Do you offer "Manzilians?"

No. I specialize in vaginal anatomy only. It is the only type of genitalia I have waxed and do not know how to wax penile genitalia. I will not provide a service I have no knowledge of. However, I am partners with another salon owner named Jay at All About Skin who is an expert in this type of service. He is also located in Palm Springs. Please, contact his salon.

3) What kind of wax do you use?

I use a hard/film wax. I do not use soft wax or strips.

4) How long does the hair need to be after shaving?

It MUST be a minimum of 3 weeks hair growth. Preferably, longer is better. If the hair is too short I cannot service you.

5) How can I make an appointment?

You can call/leave a voicemail, text, DM on instagram, email or you can schedule through my website. Please, DO NOT call me multiple times in a row. It is just me at the salon so if I am with a client I will not answer. However, I will always reach out to you within the day if you provide me your information.

6) Can I get waxed while on my period?

Yes, you can as long as you wear a tampon. The hormones from your menstrual may make the service a little bit more painful.

7) Can I wax while pregnant?

Yes. The hormones may make the service a little more painful. I will not wax your Brazilian if you are in your first trimester.

8) What are contraindications to waxing?

You cannot get waxed if you are on skin care medications, antibiotics, blood thinners, or photosensitive medications. Your skin WILL lift. If you are using topical skin care products such as retinol, Benzoyl Peroxide, Chemical Peels etc. You can still wax just not in the area it is being applied. If you are allergic to BEES please, let me know. 

9) What is your cancelation policy?

Please call/text Prickly Little Pineapple if you would like to cancel or reschedule your appointment. If you do not notify Prickly Little Pineapple that you are unable to make it within 3 hours of your scheduled appointment, then the next appointment you would like to book will have an additional 40% up front fee of the missed scheduled service's original price. If you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment will need to be rescheduled and will have an additional 40% fee. Holidays are 60%. Prickly Little Pineapple has the right to refuse service. If a new client no call/no shows, they will not be scheduled for a service in the future. Messaging me past 15 minutes is considered a no call/no show. 

10) Covid-19 Update

Please, wear your mask at the salon. If you have been around anyone that has tested positive or has cold like symptoms, do not hesitate to reach out/cancel your appointment. 

11) Are Children allowed to come to my appointment?

Toddlers and children that need to be accompanied are not allowed at your appointment.
